#covid19

While clearly there is a massive economic impact on several sectors and likely the worst of recessions are about to take place around the world –
Let’s also look at the #silverlining
(Not Limited to)

  1. Environment
    Reduced Emission
  • From Airlines as a result of restricted air travel by countries and corporations
  • Reduced usage of road transport including Public transport as a result of schools, universities and several corporates enabling their students and/or staff to study and/or work from home.

  1. Increased “sense of general hygiene”
  2. Increased “sense of Community” as the Pandemic is not limited to a certain ethnicity
  3. Minimized wastage as result of risk of reduction in supplies. Existing supplies are managed and utilized carefully
  4. Possible reduced focus and conflicts over political issues
  5. Places of worship temporarily closed down due to the risk of virus spreading, thus empowering Science to take lead while maintaining faith at “personal preference”
  6. More time with family in most cases!
  7. Opportunity to reset priorities on what matters and only what matters whether at work or at home
  8. Test of situational leadership and resilience at every level…be it Governmental, Organizational or Personal.
